Unlimited fun August 3, 2008
As a fan of One Piece I'm slightly biased, but this game is lots of fun nonetheless. It has tons of gameplay value; my bro and I clocked 60 hours before retiring it. The experience of collection and item creation isn't for everyone though, but I liked seeing the crew and their campsite grow. The One Piece story is somewhat filled in by flashbacks, but if you're not a fan it would be confusing. However, even if you're not a fan, this might make you one.

This is by far the best One piece game thus far. If you are a fan of the series you will understand what i mean when you play this game. Even if you are not a fan of the series this game has enough there to keep anyone interested. The gameplay is great, the graphics look wonderful on the wii, and the characters really feel like their counterparts in the anime. The only drawback is that it may take you a while to get to places as you have to run everywhere on this island. but other than that this game was one of those rare "anime/movie/franchise titles" that was a lot of fun to play.

A One Piece RPG/Fighting Wii Game! Who would've thought possible? For the solo game you gather items to energize your new found gem in order to unlock new places or bosses. In the multiplayer mode, you duke it out with your favorite One Piece heroes and villians that you got in the solo mode. This game goes from Luffy's village all the way to Water 7 so there will be no skeleton nakama. If you like One Piece, this game is a must buy. If you don't, try it out for the adventure mode. During the solo mode, you can also catch fish/other water-dwelling animals with your rod or catch insects with your net. At >40 bucks who wouldn't want to buy this game?
